ars berlin is proud to host the berlin - new york planning + design workshop this summer.

the focus of this year's workshop is comparing waterfront developments in berlin and new york and developing new strategies that better address the demands of the present as well as the needs of the future.

the workshop will run from May 30th until June 30th and will include design charrettes, research seminars, site tours, lectures, and discussions all related to water, architecture, and planning.

the berlin - new york workshop was founded as a partnership between the pratt institute of new york and the beuth hochschule für technik in berlin, but is open to all students of architecture and planning.
